Troubleshooting Your Printer

Troubleshooting Your Printer

When I was growing up, the only way to print something was to take it to school and hope that the technology lab could read your floppy disk. However, these days, most people have a printer at home that they can use whenever they need to. I don't know about your, but at my house, we have our fair share of trouble with our printer. Sometimes it jams, while other times we end up dealing with clogged print heads and streaky lines on our documents. Fortunately, I have learned how to troubleshoot these problems, and I want to share the solutions with you.

Preserving Your Memories: Things You Never Thought Of Framing

Everyone has treasures from special times in their lives stashed away somewhere. They hold the memories of people and places that are important to your life story. Why keep them hidden away in a cedar chest or a box in the closet? Some treasured possessions become art when they are framed.

T-Shirts

Remember that weekend you went to see your favorite band, and they signed your t-shirt? Or maybe that concert was your first date with your future spouse. Whatever the memory, framing the t-shirt can keep it front and center and make you smile every day.

Greeting Cards

Some greeting cards are definitely frame-worthy, and people use them as wall art all the time. The best cards to frame are those with meaningful verses or imaginative art on the front. Perhaps you could make a collage of all the birthday or valentine cards your loved one gave you and put it up to remind you daily of your love.

Record Albums and Covers

Many album covers are actually works of art, and some albums were made with a picture of the artist sealed inside. If music was an important part of your formative years, you should preserve those special memories by displaying your favorite music front and center on your walls.

Shells

Shells you collected on the beach as a child, or even as an adult, can be arranged and framed as lovely art pieces. These are wonderful for decorating a beach or vacation home, and work especially well in a bathroom.

Poetry Book Pages

If you have a favorite poet, you can literally tear a page out of his book and hang it on your wall. Even a simple haiku can become a tiny, framed item in a gallery wall or as a miniature standing frame on a small shelf. If you love several of the poems, you can have them custom-framed in a collage, with each having a different shape on the mat.

Maps

Perhaps you took a road trip with your lifelong best friend and want to commemorate it. Cut out two parts of the map, such as your starting and ending points, and have them framed. One you keep, and one you give to your friend as a gift to remind you that no matter where you are, there is always a road to each other.

The things you treasure in your life deserve to be placed where others can share them. Take your treasures to a framing shop like Frame It On Bloor Inc and find out the many beautiful ways they can turn them into art to last a lifetime.
